Protecting Constitutional Rights & Requirements
Public Citizen seeks to redress violations of federally protected rights by bringing cases based directly on the Constitution or by using civil rights statutes that provide a mechanism for litigating constitutional torts. Our cases in this area have involved the Due Process Clause, the Equal Protection Clause, and the bicameralism requirement.
